Frequently asked questions

Are these passwords secure?

They use crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling, so every character is equally likely. A 16+ character password with mixed sets is strong.

What are look-alike characters?

0, O, 1, l, I and | are easy to confuse when reading or typing. Excluding them helps for codes people type by hand.

Are generated passwords stored?

No. They exist only on this page in your browser.
